The Meanings

Featuring 50 beautifully designed cards, each of which draws from an inspired lesson from the international best-selling spiritual classic A Course in Miracles, distilled by two world-renowned teachers.

Robert and Hollie Holden have gathered the most powerful lessons from A Course in Miracles into this deck. These cards help you to remember, and apply, the key principles of the text – which teaches that everything is a miracle, that love is the answer to all problems, and that forgiveness is the way back home.

The book A Course in Miracles (abbreviated as ACIM) is a spiritual and psychological workbook that provides a systematic method of undoing the illusion of separation. It focuses on teaching the importance of forgiveness as the means to awakening to peace and happiness. The Course has become one of the most widely read books in modern history. Its profound messages of forgiveness and love have touched many people around the world.

It was originally written in the mid-1960s by Columbia University psychology professor Helen Schucman and her husband Bill. At the time, they were deeply troubled by the anger and divisiveness that surrounded them. As a result, they agreed to let go of their grievances and look for another way. Soon after, Helen began to experience a series of inner visions and heightened dreams. She was led to a process of "inner dictation" in which a voice dictated the Course to her word for word. The voice was identified by Helen as the voice of Jesus. The Course is considered non-religious, though it has influenced many in the religious and spiritual world.

Although the Course uses Christian symbols and terminology, it is actually almost the opposite of Christianity as practiced in the world today. It also provides a different meaning to most of the common Christian terms used. It is a complex teaching, but one that can be learned through its daily Workbook lessons. These do not require a lot of time or long practice periods, but do require a willingness to question our current beliefs and perceptions about reality. um curso em milagres videos

The Instructions

As a control deck, Miracles seeks to keep the board stable and generating a sizable advantage each turn. This is achieved by efficient creature removal, powerful planeswalkers, and counter magic. Eventually, the deck is able to resolve enough planeswalkers to turn the table on its opponents and win the game. If the deck is unable to finish off its opponent, it can rely on its suite of angel tokens to create an overwhelming board that cannot be dealt with.

In addition to the maindeck’s powerful planeswalkers, Miracles also packs in a powerful suite of graveyard hate. These cards allow the deck to overcome a variety of archetypes that rely heavily on their graveyard, including the popular Uro decry-based decks. Additionally, these cards are extremely effective against a deck like Dredge that demands mass graveyard removal.

The last card in the deck, Entreat the Angels, is a potent way for Miracles to end games. This card is a great combo with Snapcaster Mage as it allows the deck to rebuy its cantrips and Swords to Plowshares. Additionally, it can be used to pressure planeswalkers and make them uncomfortable on the board.

The 50 beautifully designed cards in this deck draw inspiration from the international best-selling spiritual classic A Course in Miracles. Each card features a lesson from the book explained by two world-renowned teachers of the Course. Each lesson is explained in its own unique and eloquent style by renowned authors Robert and Hollie Holden, who have distilled the Course’s teachings into a deck that can be used to help us all find more peace in our lives.
